Terms of service
Effective 16 October 2026
Agreement and accounts
Mothership is operated by Foto Friend Pty Ltd (ABN 49 135 954 068), Level 5, 44 Market St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. By using Mothership, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. You must be legally able to enter a contract and authorised to represent any organisation you act for. Keep your account details accurate and your credentials secure.
Monitoring and generated output
Mothership uses third-party data and automated analysis to identify changes that meet your alert criteria. Samples help establish a monitor’s scope but do not guarantee complete coverage or future availability. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate or delayed. Verify important information before acting; Mothership does not provide professional advice.
Your content and acceptable use
You retain rights in your content and permit us to process and store it to provide, secure and support the service. You must have permission to use the data, recipients and alert destinations you add, including sharing monitor content with the selected audience. Do not use Mothership for unlawful activity, harassment, spam, rights infringement, unauthorised access or bypassing usage limits. Do not submit sensitive information you are not authorised to process.
Alerts and connected services
Alerts can be sent to email and supported connected services or compatible incoming webhooks. You are responsible for authorising connections, choosing the correct destinations and keeping access details secure. Third-party services have their own terms, permissions, availability and charges. A supported webhook must accept our message format or transform it in your workflow.
Delivery can be delayed, fail or be duplicated during retries. A destination accepting an alert does not confirm that a person read it or that downstream actions completed. Verify important notifications and do not rely on Mothership as the sole channel for urgent or safety-critical information.
Email recipients can unsubscribe from individual monitors using the link in each email alert. Owners can change monitor destinations or disable and remove connections in each monitor’s settings. These changes do not cancel a subscription, remove copies already sent to other services or stop essential account and security email.
Subscriptions and payment
Setup and samples are free, subject to usage limits. Free includes one weekly monitor. Paid capacity, checking frequency, prices and currency are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Our payment provider handles card details; we do not store full card details. We may limit excessive requests to protect service availability.
Cancellation and refunds
Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of your paid period. We do not offer partial-period refunds except where required by law or for the paid-service changes described below.
Availability, ownership and liability
Our software, branding and service materials belong to us or our licensors. Third-party sources have their own terms and availability. We may reasonably change, suspend or discontinue features, giving notice where practicable. If a paid service is materially reduced, you may cancel and request a refund for the affected unused portion.
Subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free monitoring and are not liable for losses outside our reasonable control or not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or excludes mandatory rights and remedies, including Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms with reasonable notice of materially adverse changes. These terms are governed by New South Wales law without limiting mandatory rights where you live. for service, cancellation, refund or legal enquiries.
